Jazz is often associated with musicals, but this style is also used predominately by pop stars such as Iggy Azalea, Katy Perry, Britney Spears & Kylie Minogue. Founded on Jazz dance technique seen in classics such as West Side Story, A Chorus Line and Chicago, this class takes will provide a range of opportunities for students to experience commercial style Jazz and the classics. It will provide extreme benefits for those looking to increase their technique, strength and flexibility. Students will learn combinations to a variety of songs choices to allow them to experience the range of styles Jazz dance has to offer.
Our Jazz classes follow the Australasian Dance Association (ADA) Syllabus work and students have the opportunity to participate in annual ADA Jazz Dance Examinations.
